Much like the huge transition im going through in my life right now the seasons have transition phases. What does that mean exactly? Its simple….one day the weather is 80 degrees another day its 60 and your allergies arnt the only thing that suffers. Every year I read how “Black and white” is making a huge comeback as a trend for spring, but let’s get real is “Black and White” really a trend? Black and white is simply an easy way to transition consumers into spring without scaring them.
If your anything like me you work full time…..maybe you also go to school full time….and maybe because your mens fashion blog that started as a hobby got popular so you fill your calendar with events and shoots when your lucky enough to have free time. I need my clothing to have substance and style. Function and fashion. When pairing this asymmetrical shirt from ASOS with something I wanted to keep it simple so I paired it back to my favorite jeans from J BRAND (which I proudly over wear). When wearing a black and white look I find it important to break it up in an unexpected way, not just your typical “Pop Of Color”. I paired this look with navy calf hair shoes from Topman. These are subtle yet give the look a unique finish. Calf hair is always cool so dont feel bound to the “Is this spring” guide lines. Clean lines and sharp instresting contempoary styles continue to be a huge trend this season so dont be shy from trying something new! What are some of your favorite spring trends?!
