When the winter temperatures transition from frightful to delightful trying to bring your wardrobe along can be a bit challenging. I’m parterning with my friends over at Visionworks on todays post to give a few tips for helping to transition from winter with some awesome frames that you will find right now at your local Visionworks. I’m giving you a brief breakdown of each frame as well as details I love and how you can style these for your multifunctional life.
The first frames I’m in love with are these translucent stunning, classic stapes by Cole Haan. When seasons start to change one thing you can count on is an updated classic like this style. This iconic silhouette is updated and easy to transition because the frame of the lenses are transparent which makes them easy to match any look from desk to dinner. Pair these frames back to a dressed up casual look or even for a black tie event. I just wore these frames to The Warren Center Art Of Music Gala to raise awareness for children with special needs and got so many compliments all night long!
When I reach for a frame that has a color to it I love frames that have rich hues of blue. These frames are by Calvin Klein Platinum and shape the face quite nicely giving an overall smart, modern and sleek look. The modified cube frame looks unique, handsome and updated. This shade of blue is neutral with most clothing pairings and with a simple additional to your wardrobe they can strengthen your personal style. Did you know that blue is often associated with depth and stability to the subconscious? Not only are these frames attractive they can even symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, and truth all traits we count as a win!
For a more updated traditional style I love these frames by Columbia because of the brushed metallic hardware that reads as refined and modern. These frames are awesome for the guy who needs durability in his wardrobe including his eyewear. Wear this style to work or on the weekends. Columbia‘ reputation for sustainable hardware and home of the Northwest makes this particular style a go-to for functionality.
DRAGON was Born in 1993 in Capo Beach, California with a focus on creating functional, high-quality eyewear. This unique design by DRAGON is going to be a summer staple for my new found love of bohemian chic looks. Regardless of how you style these there is no way they won’t look great. The tortoise is thick and dimensional meaning they don’t look cheap or plastic. The gold bar across the brow bone is such a smart nod at the trending styles from DRAGON‘ birth era of the 90’s while looking updated and youthful. Because these frames are so neutral you can easily dress them for many occasions of your life.
