FTC DISCLOSURE: While this post is not sponsored I was given this service in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.Have you ever wondered how you could rewind the process of aging but feel like you are in too deep? Technology in the skincare world is becoming advanced but topical skincare isn’t able to do what today’s lasers can. I was recently invited into Frisco’s newest medspa Vibrant Skincare & Laser Center to check out their Hybrid Fractional Halo Laser. I’ve always heard of the power of lasers to resurface the skin but have been scared of the pain level of something like Fraxel. I’m so terrified of pain, I don’t even have tattoos!
Vibrant Skincare and Laser Center is a medical spa located in Frisco, TX that offers the best quality of care at the most affordable cost available with a variety of safe offerings to choose from. After receiving her master’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Courtney has been working as a Nurse Practitioner for 5 years. She has recently found her passion in cosmetic medicine and, more specifically, helping make people feel better about the harsh reality of aging. With Courtney’s vast knowledge and experience in the medical field Vibrant Skincare is one of the safest offices you could go to.
Many plastic surgeons have Sciton Halo Laser Skin Rejuvenation but very few medusas have it because of the cost to purchase it. It is one of the top-of-the-line lasers, and the best in the skincare industry. Halo is a laser skin rejuvenation treatment that combines the benefits of three separate laser treatments into one.
Halo Laser addresses sun damage, surface texture, and fine lines and wrinkles in a combination treatment with a much easier and faster healing experience than any other laser on the market.
Removes the outer layers of damaged skin, forcing the skin to heal thus increasing collagen production and making way for tighter, rejuvenated skin.
After my consultation and identification of my sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles I was able to start the numbing process. This is also an amazing treatment for those who struggle with acne scaring or rosacea as the laser literally resurfaces your skin from the dermis. I personally don’t have any problematic skin issues so I was wanting to treat sun damage, fine lines and tighten the skin for a healthy natural glow. After we numbed my skin for an hour Courtney measured my face to determine the depth to my dermis. Courtney rolled the device all over my face and was completely comfortable with no pain. The bumps and knicks on the lower half of my face are due to shaving my beard the night before so that the chin area could be treated.Once I was numb and the laser had determined my needs we were able to start. The laser is extremely elevated and can change the level of aggression based on your skin type. The more problematic skin you have the more aggressive the laser will be. The pain level was tolerable but was most painful around the lips and beard area due to hair follicles as well as immediantly after the treatment. More on that later. The forehead area was almost painless and the whole face took about fifteen minutes to complete. Immediatly after the Halo laster treatment the skin looks sunburned and will start to peal. While I made jokes about looking like Samantha from Sex And The City after her horrible chemical peel, this is nothing like that.Courtney applied a hydrating enzyme gel to hydrate and cool the skin. Here comes the hard part, the first hour after the laser treatment. I’m just going to give it to you straight, the first twenty minutes after feel like the devil himself has slapped you across the face and let you fall face first in a pit of fire. Im being dramatic for entertainment purposes but no doubt it was hot. Courtney is amazing so she has a cold air compressor on hand to cool the skin immediately after.Checking out my skin I wasn’t as red as I thought I would be and my skin started to cool down enough for me to drive home and feel much more comfortable. The rest of the day I rested and was able to comfortably move around the house as I normally would. Because of the immediate redness I would personally suggest taking the first initial day off of work and day to day tasks. My skin was very sensitive to sunlight for the next few days so do your best to avoid sun all together. The next couple of days I experienced redness but was comfortable wearing some makeup over it for events and my normal schedule. However when I could I only kept sunscreen on and remained out of direct sunlight for a few days.
The day after my Halo Laser treatment I started experiancing some light scabbing that was 100% pain free and by day 2 most of the redness and scabbing had subsided and easily can be covered up by makeup. It does take about 6-13 weeks after the Halo Laser treatment to see full results. After three weeks I can see more overall radiance and my skin feels firm and much tighter.
The average cost of a Halo Laser treatment can average $1,500-$2,000 however Vibrant Skincare And Laser Center offer this laser treatment for $900-$1200. Courtney and her team have been so kind to offer us a discount promo code as well.
Vibrant Skincare And Laser Center DISCOUNT // Use code “ChristianSentMe” to save 30% off of your laser service as well as an additional $100 off for the first 5 readers who schedule a free consultation to meet with Courtney to learn more about the powerful Halo Laser treatment. All in all I really enjoyed my laser treatment experience at Vibrant Skincare And Laser Center. Courtney made me feel comfortable and talked me through each step of the process in addition to making sure I was as pain free as possible. After my treatment she supplied me with a cooling gel and her personal cell number to reach out with any questions or concerns. If you are someone who struggles with the apperance of acne scaring, rosacea, sun damage or fine lines and wrinkles I would highly suggest looking into a laser treatment as it could change your life through skin resurfacing.
